Mums are amazing aren’t they? Who else would do your washing, cook you delicious Sunday dinners, pick you up every time you fall, be a constant shoulder to cry on and still fuss and worry about you long after you’ve grown up and left home?
Don’t worry tots! We have got you caught. This time, Indigifts is coming with a social campaign EkChitthi-MaaKeNaam where not only you can just share your feelings but it does bring tears of happiness in your mother’s eyes. They’ll find it heart touching as you haven’t just written those words but the love and your presence will be felt by her.
EkChitthi- MaaKeNaam is a social campaign run by Indigiftsin which any person who are staying away from their mom or still living with them and not able to speak their hearts out and still want to share their day with her even if they are away. In that case, Indigifts is trying to connect the two in which people can write a letter to their mom and indigifts will send it to them via Indian post.
Why is it important to write a letter to your mom in this digital world? You must be thinking of this for sure, but before that let me tell you one thing; you and your mom’s feelings are true and pure for each other and these feelings won’t turn into your real presence until and unless it gives a touch of oneself. So, imagine a postman standing in front of the gate and your mom receiving the letter via him. Won’t it bring tears in her eyes when she’ll find out that how much you love her and you actually took out some time even if you are far away from her.
This campaign is going to reach to as many students, children or people who stay away from home due to their studies or work, from all over India. This campaign not only connects you and your mom but also gives a special feeling of that time when you used to stay with her and had that delicious dinner she used to cook for you. This ekchitthi campaign will let you relive your moments you had before.
This timesindigifts became a part of ‘Ammi’, a social event. It was fun time for Jaipurites because an event took place in Jaipur, Rajsathan on 28th April, 2019named ‘Ammi’ under The Sahitya Project, an initiative of ‘Shoonya’and it really took the hearts away when we saw the mothers speaking their hearts out. Everyone was excited to feel the vibes of the mothers who were the storytellers and poets for the night and were able to talk about their unheard voices. It was a fun and successful event for the mother’s dayas it ended with some beautiful songs sung by mothers and their children and with our famous folk artist duo of mother and daughter ‘RajkiSapera and MamtaSapera’ which just lit up the aura with the famous RajasthaniKalbeliya dance and every participant got a special surprise gift from Indigifts as the lights started to dim.
